NYTF Inspectors - Certification Due 3/15

We wanted to keep you updated on inspector training/recertification. Your certification expires on March 15, 2021.  All inspectors MUST get re-certified.

New York State, Re-Inspector Chair,  Erin Perry will be offering training to all inspectors. Erin will make training available on Friday, March 12, 2021, from 8 am until 12 noon.
If you would like to participate in the training sessions that Erin is offering, please email ASAP and I will send you access to the training session (Via Zoom). Keep a lookout for more training dates in the Spring from Erin.

If you cannot attend Erin's training session, ATFS is also offering training on 2 separate dates, March 1st, and March 5th. Here are the time and links:

March 1, 2021 from 11:00am - 3:00 pm

March 5, 2021 from 9:30am - 1:30pm

Click Here for the FAQ from ATFS in hopes that it may help guide you. There will be new standards and a new inspection form (the 021).

Again, remember your certification expires March 15, 2021, and you MUST enroll in one of these trainings.

Water. Wildlife. Recreation. Wood.

The four sides of the Tree Farm sign tell the story of sustainable forestry ... a thriving forestland that has clean water, a healthy wildlife habitat and recreational opportunities. Our green and white diamond shaped Tree Farm signs are widely recognized across the country.  X
